'TIL YOU CAN SEE ME
'Til you can see me is the powerful and moving story of a lost young man. It addresses the issue of school violence
by taking us into the heart and mind of a troubled teen. The song opens the heart, and helps to facilitate honest and open
dialogue.
Jody and Gary have just returned from the National S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Summit in Raleigh,
NC, where they taught two educational workshops around the "'til you can see me" song. In these sessions, students,
teachers, administrators, and advisors all had the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings about school violence
from the troubled teens prospective.
If you believe that every student should be able to attend a school that is safe and secure, free of fear and conducive
to learning, you need to experience the reactions to this song. Even 5 years after the Columbine school violence attack, school
safety professionals are still searching for the answers to the question of why. This song can be used to open a dialogue
between students, parents and those interested in finding out how to prevent youth violence.
- Dr. Pamela L. Riley, Executive Director
National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.)
Til You Can See Me is more than a song; it is an evolutionary revelation for our country's time of severe need to cherish
our children and awaken to how much they need our full engagement in their journey through life. The words of this song will
change your consciousness, while hearing its beautiful melody and heartfelt voice that brings its message straight into your
heart. Don't miss a word of it!
